FICOTA Celebrates the World Cotton Day (WCD) 3rd Edition.
The production and transformation of African Cotton into fiber, textile, thread, garments and accessories through the cotton industrial value and supply chains is hope for many creatives in art, culture design, and fashion in Africa and beyond. How we engage existing talents and the exponentially growing vulnerable unskilled youth population is the vision FICOTA seeks to achieve with her partners through innovative skills, jobs and wealth in the continent.
To halt illegal immigration and dramatic deaths in the high seas, we need to reduce the misery and keep our youth in the continent.
How we use cotton to empower African youth and women, is the magic FICOTA seeks to unmask, as we joined ICAC and WCTO-ITC as panelist on the webinar organized by WTO-ITC on October, 6, 2021 to celebrate the “World Cotton Day” (WCD) on the clothing value chain in Africa.
